Parent Cooperation Statement
The Catholic Church and Christ the King School recognize parents as the primary educators of their children. The education of students at Christ the King School is a partnership between parents and the school. If, in the opinion of the administration, the partnership is irretrievably broken, the school reserves the right to require the parent to withdraw his or her child. This is a very serious decision that is not to be made lightly.
- The ideal entry of a child into the Catholic educational system is when the child is eligible for Kindergarten.
- A child entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before December 1 of the entering school year.
- Christ the King School Kindergarten teacher will perform Kindergarten screening assessments to determine if the child is academically and socially mature to enter Kindergarten.
- Immunization and a health physical must be complete before the beginning of Kindergarten.
